Seattle Mariners outfielder Dominic Canzone is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Angel Zerpa and the Kansas City Royals.
The left-handed hitting Canzone will sit against the Royals' southpaw. Sam Haggerty will join the outfield and hit ninth while Teoscar Hernandez shifts to designated hitter on Thursday afternoon.
