Jake Cronenworth (wrist) placed on Padres' 10-day IL
San Diego Padres infielder Jake Cronenworth has been placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday.
What It Means:
Cronenworth suffered a right wrist fracture, and as a result, he's heading to the IL. Matthew Batten has been recalled from Triple-A El Paso.
In 522 plate appearances this season, Cronenworth has a .229 batting average with a .689 OPS, 10 home runs, 54 runs, 48 RBI and 6 stolen bases.
