Angels' Kyren Paris making MLB debut Friday
Los Angeles Angels infielder Kyren Paris is in the lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander JP Sears and the Oakland Athletics.
Paris will start at shortstop and bat ninth in his MLB debut after the Angels promoted him from Double-A Rocket City on Friday. Andrew Velazquez will be available off the Angels' bench.
Paris slashed .255/.393/.417 with 14 homers, 45 RBI, and 44 steals in 113 games at the Double-A level this season.
