Jake Fraley on Reds bench Tuesday versus left-hander
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jake Fraley is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against left-hander Joey Wentz and the Detroit Tigers.
The left-handed hitting Fraley is taking a seat against a southpaw. The Reds are starting TJ Friedl, Harrison Bader, and Spencer Steer across the outfield while Hunter Renfroe serves as the designated hitter and cleanup batter. Jonathan India will take over as the leadoff batter and Friedl will hit ninth.
numberFire’s models project Renfroe ($2,500) for 10.0 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds' implied total is 4.61 and the game total is 9.0. Wentz is registering a poor 19.9% strikeout rate and 9.6% walk rate this season, with a 6.65 ERA and 5.73 xERA.
