Korey Lee back on White Sox bench Wednesday
Chicago White Sox catcher Korey Lee is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Josiah Gray and the Washington Nationals.
Lee will head back to the bench after he hit a double and caught all nine innings on Tuesday night. Carlos Perez will catch for the White Sox and hit ninth in Wednesday's matinee.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the White Sox's implied total is 4.31 and the game total is 9.0. Gray has a 5.04 xERA hiding behind his 4.07 ERA this season, with a poor strikeout rate (bottom 29th percentile) and even worse walk rate (bottom 10th).
