Washington Nationals outfielder Nick Senzel has been scratched from the starting lineup on Thursday against right-hander Frankie Montas and the Cincinnati Reds.
What It Means:
Ildemaro Vargas will now start on third base and bat eighth. The Nationals didn't provide a reason for removing Senzel from the lineup.
