Corey Seager gets rest day from Rangers Sunday
The Texas Rangers did not list Corey Seager in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
The Rangers will give Seager, who underwent surgery earlier this winter, the afternoon off as they wrap up their series with Chicago. Ezequiel Duran will take over at shortstop and bat fifth.
Seager is already batting .500 this season, logging 5 hits across 10 plate appearances. He has knocked in 2 RBI.
