Jake Cave sitting Monday for Rockies
Colorado Rockies outfielder Jake Cave is not in the lineup for Monday afternoon's series opener against left-hander Shota Imanaga and the Chicago Cubs.
Cave made his first start of the season on Sunday and went 1-for-3 with a strikeout. Charlie Blackmon will replace Cave in right field and bat leadoff for the Rockies on Monday afternoon. Ezequiel Tovar will hit seventh after leading off last game.
numberFire’s models project Blackmon for 11.2 FanDuel points on Monday afternoon. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies have the worst implied total (2.92) in the majors today.
