Kris Bryant batting cleanup Monday afternoon for Rockies
Colorado Rockies infielder/outfielder Kris Bryant will start on first base and bat cleanup in Monday afternoon's series opener against left-hander Shota Imanaga and the Chicago Cubs.
Bryant hit second in the first three games of the season and then sat out Sunday, so this will be his first turn in the cleanup spot. Ryan McMahon will hit fifth, while Brendan Rodgers will bat second and Nolan Jones will hit third. Elehuris Montero will start at designated hitter again and bat eighth. Michael Toglia is not in the lineup after starting on first base in Sunday's game.
numberFire’s models project Bryant for 9.4 FanDuel points on Monday afternoon. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies have the worst implied total (2.92) in the majors today.
