Blair Henley starting Monday for Astros in MLB debut
Houston Astros right-handed pitcher Blair Henley will start on Monday versus the Texas Rangers.
The Astros are calling up right-hander Blair Henley from Triple-A Sugar Land to start instead of Framber Valdez. The 2019 seventh-round pick will be making his MLB debut on Monday night.
Henley recorded a 5.06 ERA across 106 2/3 innings in 2023 at Double-A Corpus Christi, with 106 strikeouts and 53 walks.
