Parker Meadows sitting for Tigers' Tuesday matinee
Detroit Tigers outfielder Parker Meadows is not in the lineup for Monday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Martin Perez and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The left-handed hitting Meadows will take a seat against a lefty starter. Matt Vierling will cover center field and leadoff duty, while Mark Canha will start in right and bat second. Riley Greene will hit third and Spencer Torkelson will clean things up for Detroit.
numberFire's models project Vierling for 9.8 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Canha is projected for 10.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers' implied total (4.15) is No. 16 in the majors today.
