Charlie Blackmon on Rockies bench Wednesday
Colorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Tommy Henry and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The left-handed hitting Blackmon remained in the lineup in the Rockies' first four games against a southpaw, but he will take a seat on Wednesday afternoon. Kris Bryant will shift to designated hitter and bat third, while Elehuris Montero will start on first base and hit cleanup. Ezequiel Tovar will take over as the leadoff batter. Michael Toglia will replace Jake Cave in right field and bat eighth.
numberFire's models project Tovar for 12.4 and Toglia for 9.0 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rockies' implied total (5.44) is second-best on the board, while the game total (11.5) is the highest of the day.
