Rockies' Kris Bryant (ribs, back) resting Sunday
The Colorado Rockies did not list Kris Bryant (ribs, back) in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Bryant exited the Rockies' last game with a ribs and/or back injury and will miss Sunday's game. The team has expressed optimism that Bryant will just be day-to-day with the injury. In the meantime, they'll have Charlie Blackmon take over for Bryant in right field while Elias Diaz takes a turn at catcher and Jacob Stalling joins the lineup at catcher.
The 32-year-old is batting just .149 through his first 55 plate appearances, with 1 home run, 3 runs, and 6 RBI on the season.
