Nolan Schanuel sitting Tuesday for Angels
Los Angeles Angels first baseman Nolan Schanuel is not in the lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Aaron Civale and the Tampa Bay Rays.
Schanuel went 0-for-5 in Monday's series opener. Miguel Sano will shift to first base in place of Schanuel, while Anthony Rendon will start on the hot corner and Mike Trout will serve as the designated hitter. Mickey Moniak will start in center field and hit fifth. Logan O'Hoppe will replace Matt Thaiss at catcher and bat sixth.
numberFire's models project Moniak for 7.4 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Angels' implied total (3.95) is No. 19 in the majors today.
