Andrew McCutchen absent for Pirates Wednesday afternoon
Pittsburgh Pirates designated hitter Andrew McCutchen is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Luis Severino and the New York Mets.
McCutchen will move to the bench after starting the last three games. Bryan Reynolds will take over at DH and Connor Joe will handle left field. Rowdy Tellez will start on first base and bat cleanup for the Pirates.
numberFire's models project Tellez for 9.8 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Pirates' implied total (3.70) is tied for No. 26 in the majors today.
