Jared Walsh joining Rangers bench Wednesday
Texas Rangers first baseman Jared Walsh is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Tarik Skubal and the Detroit Tigers.
The left-handed hitting Walsh will sit against a southpaw. Ezequiel Duran will shift to first base, while Wyatt Langford will serve as the designated hitter and bat third. Evan Carter will cover left field and hit seventh. Adolis Garcia will return to right field and cleanup duty.
numberFire's models project Duran for 8.0 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rangers have the worst implied total (3.28) in the majors today.
