At this point in time, the current Warriors team, with a SRS of 10.85, is a step above '96-97 Bulls as it pertains to on-court performance. Through 19 games, they are 16-3 with a margin of victory of 11.79 points.

Kevin Durant and his career-best season has helped Steve Kerr and the gang to get out to such a great start. According to our algorithms, right now, Durant is the most valuable player in the league. And the crazy thing is Curry has yet to get back to the level of play we're used to seeing from him.

This Golden State team, with a pace of 100.5 and an offensive rating of 116.3, is the fastest and best offensive team among all 10 squads listed here. We'll have to see if they can maintain that, as well as their winning ways.

If we extrapolate their current record out over an 82-game regular season, the would be on pace for a touch over 69 wins this season. That's definitely a possibly. Will the success, for two years in a row, end there? Or will they run the regular season and capture a title?
