Darius Miles, 2002-03

nERD: -11.1

There seems to be an ongoing trend between top-10 picks, extremely poor and inefficient seasons and their reputation as a bust. Darius Miles, a former third overall pick, fits that bill, having played only seven seasons and accounting for one of the worst performances in recent years.

Back in his first and only full season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miles was a part of a very bad team. But, Miles did his part as well, with a mere 9.2 points on 41% shooting over 30 minutes a game. His 9.7 PER was, by far, the lowest mark of his career.
