DeMarcus Cousins is the top fantasy option on the slate, and it's no surprise that our models project him for the highest fantasy score of the night.

In 13 games since Rudy Gay went down with an Achilles injury, Cousins has averaged 51.9 FanDuel points per game, and his fantasy points per minute have jumped from 1.06 with Gay on the floor to 1.56 with Gay off, per NBAWowy. He has posted a usage rate of at least 40% in six of his last 12 games while averaging 34.8 minutes per game in that span.

Getting a workload like that against the Los Angeles Lakers should mean big things from a fantasy standpoint.

The Lakers own the league's second-worst defensive rating and a below-average rebound rate while playing at a top-five pace. They have allowed the most fantasy production to opposing centers, and they give up more fantasy points per 48 minutes to centers than any team on the slate allows to any other position.
