3. 1986-87

Now, for what many would say is Magic's best season.

At the age of 27, he won his first NBA MVP award as the Lakers took home yet another championship. With averages of 26.2 points, 13.0 assists and 8.0 rebound,s Magic also took home Finals MVP honors -- the third and last of his playoff career.

At the same time, Magic racked up .263 win shares per 48 as L.A. won 65 games in the regular season. He totaled 15.9 win shares on a personal-best PER of 27.0.
