Daily Fantasy Basketball Game Scripts to Target on 2/27/17
Myles Turner, C, Indiana Pacers
FanDuel Price: $6,500
Just in his second year, Myles Turner has proven himself as one of the NBA's best young centers. He's currently averaging 15.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game, which is establishing a stable baseline for fantasy points on a nightly basis. In recent weeks, he has provided solid returns even with less than ideal matchups.
Over his last six games, he has scored at least 30 fantasy points 5 times, averaging 31.3 FanDuel points per night while facing some of the league's stiffer defenses. Four of those opponents rank in the top 10 of defensive rating, and three of them -- San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat -- rank sixth or better in opponents points per game.
On Monday, Turner and the Indiana Pacers face off with the Houston Rockets in the highest projected over/under of the night. The Rockets play at the fourth-fastest pace while allowing over 108 points per night, and the position that has taken advantage of their style of play the most has been center. Houston allows the third-most FanDuel points to opposing centers in the NBA -- only the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers give up more.
In the only other time this season Turner has faced Houston, back on January 29, he posted 18 points with 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 blocks for a grand total of 43 fantasy points. It was the 20-year-old's fourth-highest scoring game of the season.
