6. Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls (1984-85)

Three picks into the 1984 draft, Michael Jordan went from the North Carolina Tar Heels to the Chicago Bulls just like that. And just like that, he won Rookie of the Year with 28.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 2.4 steals per game across all 82 contests.

Jordan's production translated to .213 win shares per 48 and 14.0 for the season. He also earned himself a PER of 25.8 with 51.5% shooting and 84.5% from the free throw line.
