12 132 Marcus Smart BOS PG Brandon Gdula

We're officially in dart-throw territory!

I think Brandon Gdula nailed the Marcus Smart pick, as he'll have to log heavy minutes to make up for the Celtics' loss of Avery Bradley.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Greg Monroe, Robin Lopez, Lou Williams, and Reggie Jackson have all shown at one point or another that they have mid-round upside, so I like those picks too.

Guys like Norman Powell and Thon Maker have huge breakout potential as projected starters for the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks, respectively, so those are great fliers in this range.

Sam Hauss, one of the analysts on the Points in the Paint NBA Podcast, stayed incredibly on-brand by selecting his boy Dion Waiters with pick 127. I'm pretty sure Dion would've gone earlier, but no one else wanted to pick him at the fear of breaking Sam's heart.

My pick: Markieff Morris is a bit of an injury stash for me, but he's only supposed to miss the first couple weeks of the season. Morris ranked within the top-100 in nine-category leagues in three of the last four seasons (including 74th last year in his first full campaign with the Washington Wizards), so I'll take a shot on him this late.
