I feel like I've given Brett Oswalt a lot of love in this article already, but once again I like the Avery Bradley pick at 62. We have him projected at 58 and as one of our breakout candidates in his first season with the Detroit Pistons.
In fact, there were a lot of notable picks in this round when it comes to our breakouts, sleepers, and busts. We have Aaron Gordon and Willie Cauley-Stein as sleepers, Nerlens Noel, Avery Bradley, and Trevor Ariza as breakouts, and Dennis Schroder, Andrew Wiggins, D'Angelo Russell, and Julius Randle as busts. Act accordingly.
My pick: I would've liked Aaron Gordon right here, but Sam Hauss kept scooping up all of our sleepers and breakouts whenever he could. I ended up selecting D'Angelo Russell, but I'm lukewarm on the pick. He definitely has the potential to bust as a relatively inefficient player who is about to get a bump in volume, but I needed more guards on my team and liked the look of his threes, assists, and steals.
