Brook Lopez, C, Los Angeles Lakers

DraftKings Salary: $6,500

It may be a bit unnerving to pay for Brook Lopez in a new situation, especially with DeAndre Jordan just $1,000 more, but the upside for Lopez at this price tag is immense. Lopez's price seems awfully conservative, considering he regularly resided in the seven thousand range last year, when he averaged 34.8 DraftKings points in just 29.4 minutes per game.

While we don't know exactly what Lopez's role will be, on paper he projects to be the number-one scoring option, and the potential is certainly there for an increase in minutes. He should also benefit from having a pass-first point guard in Lonzo Ball to set him up.

While Jordan is a terrific defender, this matchup isn't one that you need to avoid, particularly with a skillset like Lopez's. The Clip still ranked in the bottom-half of the league last year in points allowed in the post and rebounding rate, and Lopez piled up 50.5 DraftKings in one meeting with the Clippers. His ability to stretch the floor creates problems for Jordan (he hit 4-of-9 threes in that game), and his size could be too much for Griffin on the block. Lopez's volatile nature makes him tough to trust in cash games, but he's perfect for a more tournament-driven three-game slate like this one.
