Brook Lopez, C, Los Angeles Lakers

FanDuel Price: $4,300
Projected FanDuel Points: 28.2
Projected FanDuel Value: 6.57

Much like the aforementioned George Hill, Brook Lopez is a veteran guy who's been widely inconsistent on a young, rebuilding team. A big part of that has been a byproduct of him playing just 22.8 minutes a contest. When given the chance to play at least 25 minutes, the one-time All-Star has been a productive fantasy play. In the seven games he's played 25 or more minutes, he's averaged 38.6 FanDuel points per game with four double-doubles and games of 55 FanDuel points and 46.5 FanDuel points to his name.

Clearly, it's all about opportunity for BroLo. But coach Luke Walton isn't giving him much of it. Lopez has yet to log 24 or more minutes in a single game in December and the last time he played more than 25 was way back on November 17th. In the same timeframe, Julius Randle has gotten more run at center, with seven games of more than 25 minutes. So what gives for the matchup at hand?

Kevin Love and the Cavs aren't the best of matchups to exploit at center, yet have allowed 17.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game to the Grizzlies', Bulls', Kings', Pacers' and Hawks' starting centers this month (not accounting for the Joel Embiid-less 76ers). In three of those games, they gave up at least two blocks to the position. Lopez is averaging 1.6 blocks per game and a career-high 2.5 blocks per 36 minutes, so even in limited minutes he could do some damage and fulfill his slate-high value of 6.57 points per $1,000.
