Pau Gasol's doubtful to play Wednesday as he deals with a left knee bruise. And, at 37, he's as good as out, leaving either Joffrey Lauvergne or Davis Bertans to start alongside LaMarcus Aldridge. If it's Lauvergne, he'll start at center, but if Bertans gets the nod, he'll slide into power forward as the San Antonio Spurs go small with Aldridge at the five.

Even if Lauvergne starts, expect the latter to be the primary lineup on Wednesday night. In one start, Lauvergne played just under 26 minutes. Other than that, he's played over 20 minutes just twice while he's spent 69 minutes next to Aldridge, compared to Bertans who's played 373 alongside the Spurs' star big man. Even if San Antonio offers up Lauvergne as a starter, don't be scared off Bertans.
