The Lakers managed to stave off statistical elimination from playoff contention for yet another week. We still give them a definitive 0.0% chance of making it, but the 9.5-game gap between them and the eighth-place Utah Jazz is technically surmountable with 12 games left on the schedule, even if it is ridiculously improbable.

Meanwhile, teams 12 through 15 went a combined 2-9 this week. Nothing more to see here.
