On the other side of the same game, Miami Heat guard Wayne Ellington is in play at the same price. He won't be the beneficiary of a trade, but like McConnell, he should see at least another game with increased minutes as new dad Dwyane Wade remains away from the team.

In the three games Wade has missed, Ellington has played 37.1, 23.7 and 30.2 minutes. He's averaging 20.8 FanDuel points with two games of 21.8 or more, in spite of tough matchups with the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs.

Tonight, Ellington gets the benefit of facing Philly's top-10 defense without Covington, who was the team's second-best defender, according to Basketball Reference's defensive box plus-minus (3.1), and basically guarded two-guards alongside Ben Simmons and two other taller starters. He's likely to see more of the rookie Shamet or Markelle Fultz, which bodes well for Ellington. He doesn't have much of a ceiling, but if he's the cheapest guy you roster, it's not bad to see what he can do or just drop the score entirely.
