Using Minnesota Timberwolves forward Taj Gibson in daily fantasy leagues recently has probably felt like throwing a dart at a board whilst blindfolded. He'll get 30-plus fake points one night, 11 the next, or, like last night, return just 3.2. That doesn't exactly strike confidence in using him.

Regardless, our models have him projected to return a solid value this evening. Judging by his past performances against the Orlando Magic, it's fairly easy to see why.

Gibson has thrice played the Magic as a member of Minnesota. He's scored 46.8, 37.4, and 28.5 FanDuel points in those games, finishing with at least 14 points and 7 boards in each contest.

As long as he can stay out of foul trouble -- which plagued him last night -- he should get plenty of run defending Aaron Gordon. We project Gibson to return a value of 5.64 FanDuel points per $1,000 this evening.
