The New Orleans Pelicans are supposed to be playing Anthony Davis if they don't want to get in trouble with the league. Of course, they'd rather not, and they might get lucky tonight.

Davis -- who was rested during Saturday's surprising win over the Denver Nuggets -- is sick and could miss his second game in a row. Sure. Sick. Let's go with that. Whether he is actually sick or not, there is a strong chance he won't play tonight, which means that you need to consider using Cheick Diallo.

Diallo has been phenomenal with Davis out sporadically over the past few weeks. For the season, Diallo is averaging 20.2 DraftKings points when Davis doesn't play, compared to just 10.7 when he does. Since the All-Star break, those numbers are a whopping 34.3 and 25.7, respectively.

He's still a risky tournament play if Davis takes the court, but he becomes a near must-play in all formats if Davis ends up not playing.
