Talk about a blast from the past, Andrew Bogut played in his first NBA games in over 14 months on Monday as he started at center for the Golden State Warriors.

Bogut was signed last week as frontcourt depth for the Dubs but was immediately thrust into action as DeMarcus Cousins deals with a foot injury. The 34-year-old center played well too, dropping 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 18.9 FanDuel points in 19.1 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs. While there is some risk Bogut sits or plays limited minutes on the second half of a back-to-back tonight; his minimum salary places him firmly in punt play territory tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Needing just 17.5 FanDuel points to reach optimal 5x value (5.0 FanDuel points to $1,000 of salary), Bogut would have to play only 16.1 minutes against Minnesota if he can average the 1.09 FanDuel points per minute the T-Wolves allow to centers this season. Helping Bogut’s chances has been Minnesota’s weakness on the glass lately. They rank 29th in defensive rebound percentage (69.6%) over their last 13 games.
