3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 3/25/19
Nikola Vucevic, C, Orlando Magic
Price: $10,000
For as crazy as Joel Embiid's recent production has been, once we factor in price (and the appeal of paying up for a top point guard with a big chunk of your cap space), Nikola Vucevic gets the edge.
The Orlando Magic are only 2.5-point underdogs against Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers, so Vooch should be in for plenty of run. Always a threat to see sub-30 minutes when the Magic are involved in a blowout, he's averaged 34.0 minutes per game in 11 contests decided by fewer than 15 points since the All-Star break, compared to 27.8 per game in the three decided by more. He's also averaging 50.1 FanDuel points per game in games decided by 15 or fewer points in that time.
Despite Embiid's fantasy dominance, he hasn't done much to limit the value of opposing centers, as the Sixers rank in the middle of the pack in fantasy efficiency allowed to opponents at the five.
Vucevic posted a 30.4 fantasy point dud in his last game against Philly, but his other two contests against them this season saw him drop 50.6 and 64.6. He's also played at least 33.7 minutes in each of the three meetings, with at least 37 in two of them.
