3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 4/5/19

How Jamal Crawford's salary is just $3,600 heading into tonight's contest is beyond me. Filling in for a plethora of Phoenix Suns injuries, Crawford has seen 30 minutes of run in each of his past three games.

He's made the extra minutes count, scoring at least 24.0 DraftKings points in three straight. He's not only been using the extra time as a scorer, but he's also dished out 20 assists in those games.

There is a caveat, of course (isn't there always with value plays?). Crawford didn't play during Wednesday's loss to the Utah Jazz. He should have every opportunity to take the court again tonight, however, as Devin Booker has been shut down for the last three games of the season after sustaining a sprained ankle.

If using a player who didn't play in the last game is too risky a proposition for you, you'll be glad to know you have options tonight. Given that DraftKings has late swap, you can easily roster Crawford in your guard slot and trade him out for either Troy Daniels, Elie Okobo, or Jimmer Fredette, all of whom have a $3,200 salary. Of the four, Okobo is the most likely to start and be ensured minutes, but Crawford has shown his quality. It's now up to you to decide how much risk you are willing to take on.
