5. Chris Paul vs. Warriors - October 31st, 2013

Game Score: 42.3

Chris Paul is the measuring stick against which all point guards are held nowadays. Performances like this one - the Clippers second game of the season - show you exactly why that is.

Stephen Curry, easily a top-5 point guard in the NBA, put up 38 points, 9 assists, and 9 three-pointers in this game and still wasn’t the best point guard to take the floor at the Staples Center that day.

CP3 saw Steph’s line and raised him 42 points, 15 assists, and 6 steals, while shooting 12 for 20 from the field, 2 for 6 from long range, and 16 for 17 from the line.

He’s earned the nickname “point god” for a reason.

The Clippers went on to win this Halloween game, one that proved to be a preview of the amazing seven-game series that took place between the two teams in the first round this past spring. With CP3 and Steph currently at the peak of their respective games, we’re likely in for plenty more battles like this one.

And for that, we’re the true winners.
