3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for 4/24/16

Jonas Jerebko is in a good spot coming off of a huge Game 3 against the Hawks. Who else offers solid fantasy value today?

One of the keys to finding success in daily fantasy basketball is uncovering potential value plays. If you're looking to roster a stud player or two, you'll need to find one of these lower-priced options to squeeze everyone into your lineup.

Let's take a look at three guys who can help fill the gaps in your lineup tonight.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, SG, Detroit Pistons

FanDuel Price: $5,600

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's 39.4 minutes per game to start the playoffs rank second in the league, behind only LeBron James.

He's averaging 28.87 FanDuel points per game through the first three, with very little variance, not scoring fewer than 27.9 in a game so far.

KCP played big minutes all year, averaging 36.7 per game, and while he's not the most efficient player in the world, those kind of minutes make him a safe fantasy option.

Jonas Jerebko, PF, Boston Celtics

FanDuel Price: $4,000

Jonas Jerebko was moved into Boston's starting lineup for Game 3, as they were down 0-2 and needed to mix things up. He responded in a big way, putting up a double-double with 11 points, 12 boards and 4 assists in just under 37 minutes.

The Hawks aren't the most appealing team to target in daily fantasy, with their very strong defense, but Jerebko's salary is so low that even on an off day he's likely to return solid fantasy value when he's playing minutes like he did last game.

As an added bonus, the Hawks were one of the worst rebounding teams in the league this season, ranking last in Offensive and 25th in Defensive Rebound Rate, and there aren't many power forwards in the league that couldn't pick up 10-to-12 rebounds in 36 minutes against the Hawks.

Donatas Motiejunas, PF, Houston Rockets

FanDuel Price: $3,800

Donatas Motiejunas was moved into the Rockets' starting lineup for Game 2, and his role continued to increase in Game 3, when he played 31 minutes and picked up 35.6 FanDuel points.

The Warriors and Rockets both rank in the top-10 in the league in Pace, making this series a nice one to target in daily fantasy.

Motiejunas is fourth on the team in Player Efficiency Rating through three playoff games, and while there's a chance he loses his grip on the role of top power forward for Houston, he has shown that he can produce well when he's on the court (0.9 FanDuel points per minute in this series). With his salary still so low, it's easy to like the value he offers today.
