Houston trades P.J. Tucker to Milwaukee for players and picks

The Houston Rockets have traded guard/forward P.J. Tucker to the Milwaukee Bucks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

What It Means:

Tucker has been in trade rumors for a while now, and he's finally on the move. Heading to Milwaukee in the deal will be Tucker, Rodions Kurucs and the Bucks' 2022 first-round pick (which Houston had received in a different deal). Coming back to the Rockets will be D.J. Augustin, D.J. Wilson and a 2023 unprotected first-rounder. There is also a pick swap in the deal. With this trade, Milwaukee will get a stout defender who can switch 1 through 5, and Tucker can be very important come playoff time. Donte DiVincenzo and Pat Connaughton could see their minutes dip with the move.

In 32 games this season, Tucker has averaged 4.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 15.3 FanDuel point.s
