Stephen Curry (thumb) questionable for Warriors Friday
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (left thumb soreness) is questionable for Friday against the Atlanta Hawks.
Curry scored 50 points on 20-28 field goals and 8-14 3-pointers, so we aren't really concerned about his thumb. However, the Warriors are on the front end of a back-to-back Friday, so Curry could be rested in Atlanta and return for Saturday's matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies. Jordan Poole will likely enter the starting lineup if Curry is out and Klay Thompson will have more shots available. Ty Jerome, Donte DiVincenzo, and Jonathan Kuminga would also be in line for more work.
numberFire's models project Steph for 33.6 minutes and 42.8 FanDuel points on Friday. Poole is averaging 33.9 minutes and 35.7 FanDuel points per game without Steph this season. Klay is yielding 37.8 FanDuel points per game in those situations, which represents an increase of 8.7 FanDuel points from when they are both active.
