Brandon Ingram (knee) questionable Thursday for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram (right knee tendinitis) is questionable for Thursday against the Detroit Pistons.
Ingram missed the last two contests. Zion Williamson (rest) is sitting out the second leg of the Pelicans' back-to-back, so Ingram will play a larger role on offense if he's cleared to play. Jordan Hawkins will likely draw another start if Ingram remains inactive and C.J. McCollum will be asked to lead the offense. Jonas Valanciunas could also see an uptick in usage if Ingram and Williamson are both out.
Ingram had a 32.5% usage rate and averaged 41.8 FanDuel points in 33 games without Zion last season. Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Pelicans' implied total is 112.25 and the game total is 217.5 on Thursday.
