Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe (knee) sidelined at least 2 weeks
Brooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe has been diagnosed with a hyperextended left knee, per Brian Lewis of the New York Post.
Sharpe suffered the injury on Sunday versus the Portland Trail Blazers. He will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks, per Lewis, which means Sharpe will likely miss at least six games. Nic Claxton could see an uptick in playing time while Sharpe is sidelined, but the Nets may lean more on small-ball lineups that feature Dorian Finney-Smith, Trendon Watford, Royce O'Neale, or Cameron Johnson down low.
Sharpe is averaging 16.0 minutes and 21.0 FanDuel points per game this season, with 7.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.9 blocks.
