Houston's Jabari Smith Jr. (ankle) sitting versus Boston Sunday

The Houston Rockets ruled out Jabari Smith Jr. (ankle) for Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics.

What It Means:

Smith Jr. will sit out the second leg of the Rockets' back-to-back while he deals with an ankle sprain. It will be his second missed game of the season.

With Smith Jr. sidelined the Rockets could turn to fourth-year forward Jae'Sean Tate, who has a $3,900 salary on FanDuel, as a starter. Tate has already made 9 starts so far this year and is averaging 5.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists as a starter with an 8.4% usage rate.
