Anthony Davis (Achilles/hip) questionable Wednesday for Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers forward/center Anthony Davis (Achilles/hip) is questionable for Wednesday against the Utah Jazz.
Davis is uncertain for the second leg of the Lakers' back-to-back. If he sits out the last game before the All-Star break, there will be more work for Jaxson Hayes and Christian Wood. Rui Hachimura also tends to step up when Davis is out. LeBron James (ankle) has already been ruled out for Wednesday night.
numberFire's models project Davis for 36.0 minutes and 54.2 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Hayes is averaging 26.0 minutes and 30.0 FanDuel points across three games without Davis this season. He has a $4,800 FanDuel salary and could be an appealing value option. Hachimura ($5,400) averages an additional 16.4 FanDuel points per game when Davis is inactive.
