Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen Jr. (back) out at least 3 weeks
Memphis Grizzlies guard Scotty Pippen Jr. was diagnosed with a bulging disc in his lower back and will be re-evaluated in three weeks.
Pippen suffered the injury in Monday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. Marcus Smart (finger) and Ja Morant (shoulder) will still be out after the All-Star break, so Jacob Gilyard, Jordan Goodwin, and Derrick Rose (ankle) should all continue to benefit in the backcourt.
Pippen is averaging 23.9 FanDuel points in 22.6 minutes across eight games (four starts) for the Grizzlies, with 10.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 1.6 three-pointers.
