Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) expected to sit Friday for Suns
Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Houston Rockets.
Nurkic is expected to sit out the second leg of the Suns' back-to-back due to an ankle injury. He played 20 minutes on Thursday, but Nurkic didn't touch the court in the fourth quarter, so the injury may have factored into that decision. Drew Eubanks will likely start at center on Friday night, with Thaddeus Young potentially contributing off the bench.
Per numberFire's NBA Heat Map, the Suns' implied total (118.75) is No. 6 out of 20 active teams today. The Rockets are ranked No. 12 in FanDuel points allowed per game to centers this season.
