Lonzo Ball, UCLA Bruins

You know we couldn't go this whole list without Lonzo Ball, who's made a name for himself in less than a year with the UCLA Bruins. The outstanding freshman has a team-high 6.3 win shares on the season with 14.6 points, 7.7 assists, 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 steals across 34.9 minutes.

While stuffing the stat sheet, the 6'6" floor general has shot 54.4% from the field and 41% from three. Altogether, that's an effective field goal percentage of 66.0% -- 7th in the nation.

Like a few other freshman, Ball will be looking to prove himself as the country's best player and in this year's upcoming draft. He's a competitor with even more incentive to have a great postseason. If the 3-seeded Bruins are going to get out of a top-heavy South, Ball must elevate them over other teams like North Carolina and Kentucky.
