Broncos activate tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) for Week 6 game
The Denver Broncos have activated tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) from the injured reserve ahead of the Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Dulcich, a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, was the talk of Broncos training camp in the early parts of the offseason before suffering a hamstring injury that kept him out through the entire preseason and up until this point. However, the promising pass-catching tight end now seems on track to make his debut against the Chargers on Monday Night Football.
The Broncos have shown an early affection for using their tight ends in the passing game this season, surprisingly designing plays for players like Eric Saubert and Andrew Beck early on. While Albert Okwuegbunam has failed to live up to offseason expectations, Dulcich should have an opportunity to carve out a productive role for himself in the Broncos' struggling offense. He'll be worth a speculative add in season-long formats for any teams that need a tight end.
