Nico Collins (foot) expected to miss Week 14 for Texans
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (foot) is expected to miss Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Collins has missed back-to-back practices and is trending toward being ruled out for the third time this season. Brandin Cooks (calf) is also expected to be ruled out, so Phillip Dorsett and Chris Moore will likely be Davis Mills' starting receivers in a tough Week 14 matchup on the road with the Cowboys.
In Week 9 with Cooks and Collins sidelined, Dorsett played 46-of-60 offensive snaps (77%) and Moore logged 44 snaps (73%) while Tyron Johnson (42%) and Jalen Camp (25%) were involved to a lesser extent. Dorsett and Moore led the team with 5 targets each, but nobody else had more than 2 targets. They will have a tough time against a Cowboys team that has the No. 1 overall defense and No. 1 pass defense this season, per numberFire's nERD rankings.
