Gus Edwards (concussion protocol) sidelined at Ravens practice
Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards (concussion) did not practice on Wednesday during the portion open to the media.
Edwards remains in the concussion protocol after making an early exit from the Ravens' regular-season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals. He will need to clear the NFL's five-step protocol to be cleared for Sunday night's wild-card game against the Bengals. If Edwards is unavailable, Kenyan Drake and Justice Hill will have more carries available behind lead back J.K. Dobbins.
numberFire's models project Drake ($5,400 on FanDuel) for 5.7 touches and Hill ($4,800) for 1.7 touches in the Wild Card Round. Dobbins is projected to lead the way with 15.4 touches and 73.2 yards. The Bengals finished the regular season with the No. 15 run defense in our adjusted team rankings, compared to the No. 9 pass defense, so they are a bit more susceptible on the ground.
