Jets 'not concerned' with Garrett Wilson (ankle) in training camp
New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said he was "not concerned" about wide receiver Garrett Wilson's training camp ankle injury.
Wilson reportedly rolled his ankle in the early parts of training camp on Thursday and was taken to the locker room for further evaluation. It doesn't seem like the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year is in danger of missing any time in the regular season, but the Jets would be wise to take it easy with the potential breakout receiver.
Wilson just looked different when he stepped on the field for the Jets as a rookie, completely overshadowing offseason darling Elijah Moore from the get go. The Jets' quarterback play a year ago was arguably the worst in the league, but Wilson still broke 1,100 receiving yards in spite of it. He is numberFire's WR11 for the upcoming fantasy season.
