Justyn Ross 'one of the Chiefs' most dazzling players of camp

The Athletic's Nate Taylor called Justyn Ross "one of the Chiefs' most dazzling players of camp" in a recent article.

What It Means:

The longtime beat reporter took notice of Ross, a former UDFA who spent the 2022 season on the injured reserve, after the Clemson alum put together back-to-back-to-back strong practices and working his way up to first-team reps. Ross was once considered a top NFL prospect before injuries cut his collegiate career short, but it looks like he'll have a chance to earn a spot in Kansas City's offense this year if he continues his strong camp.

Ross had one of the most exciting freshman seasons in college football history, out-producing NFL talent like Tee Higgins in his very first season of college ball. Injuries thwarted what could have been a fantastic collegiate career, but it looks like Ross may still get his shot with the Chiefs this season. Without a true WR1 on the roster, Ross could have a worse shot at putting up fantasy-relevant numbers in 2023.
